Gabby's Hot and Spicy Meat and Cheese Dip!
Gabby is our close family friend and neighbor, and whenever we have parties or happy hours, she is keen to bring this super easy cheese dip over for us to enjoy. We hope you do to!
Ingredients
-
2 cans Rotel tomatoes; either hot or regular, depending on your taste
-
1 pound Jimmy Dean ground breakfast sausage; either hot or regular, depending on your taste
-
1 pound block of Velveeta cheese
-
1 8oz can of chopped black olives; optional

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 60 minutes

Total Time: 65 minutes

Directions
- Watch how easy this is...
- Pan fry the sausage in a skillet with a dash of olive oil. Drain the excess grease.
- Add the sausage into a large crockpot.
- Dump the juice from the Rotel tomato cans.
- Add all the other ingredients into the crockpot along with the sausage and 'mush' it all together.
- Let it sit and cook on HIGH for at least an hour until the cheese is completely liquid.
- Notes from Gabby: "If you don't want it spicy, get regular sausage (that's what she said) and mild Rotel!"
- Enjoy with tortilla chips, crackers, on tacos, or anything else your mind can come up with!
- Thanks Gabby! (and Jose;)
